Who I am and Why I want to go!
Allison Brennan Knapp
My name is Allison Knapp and I am 21 years old. I attend Salisbury University and am majoring in Early Childhood education. Home is Grasonville with my parents and my two sisters Molly and Sarah. I was a Young Life member all through high school and then a leader for the Middle School program called Wyld Life. I helped teach a 5th grade Sunday school class at Christ Church Kent Island until I left for Salisbury. I still occasionally help out with Wyld Life when I am home from school.
When I heard about the Africa trip I immediately became interested. I feel that God has been telling me I should go on a mission trip and until I heard about the Africa trip I didnâ??t know where I was supposed to go. When I heard we would be working with orphans I knew this is where I am supposed to go. I have always been interested in helping others and I have always enjoyed working with children. I would also like to go on this trip is because I have never been out of the country and I think this is a great way to not only experience God and what He can do, but also what I can do with His help, for others.
